The tradition of music festivals in Ann Arbor is legendary. Continuing in that tradition, the Third Annual A2 JAZZ FEST (A2JF) moves ahead with expanded offerings for 2018. Now lasting three days, this year’s line-up will feature a World Dance Party, a full array of Jazz Ensembles from professional and student groups, and a newly added third day dedicated to the PIANO, a central figure in nearly every jazz band since the beginning. The A2JF stages will be at the LIVE Nightclub on Friday and Saturday, September 28th and 29th, and at the Kerrytown Concert House Sunday, September 30th. All events are free and open to all public jazz listeners. Check out our press release here for a pdf of the schedule and details of our artists!

This year’s festival is dedicated to the late great piano master Tad Weed, who passed away in August, and performed admirably at the inaugural and follow-up festivals.
